Melissa Hanna

Hello! My name is Melissa Hanna and I’m excited to be working at Notre Dame Academy for the 2023-24 school year. I will be teaching Social Studies 6, Science 7 & 9, PE 7, Foods 8 & 9, along with Religion 9 and Computers. I started my teaching career in my home province of Nova Scotia. I’ve taught junior high in Calgary, working for the CBE, as well as a private school, West Island College. I began working for the MHCBE in 2021 and was fortunate enough to have a term at NDA in 2022.
I have three wonderful children who keep me busy. My family enjoys camping, hiking, and
traveling.
